. Update On Diamond

Chip arrived Sunday 3/31/08. His mother Diamond is a very good mom and both Chip and Diamond have received a throrough Check up from the Vet. Both are doing outstanding....Isn't he a "Chip off the old Diamond" LOL!!!
2/25/2008- Ginger has settled in to foster care in Divide Co. until the birth of her foal, which is due shortly. She is avalable for adoption but we would prefer that she stay put until she foals so that she isn't uprooted again until after the baby comes. She has had a hard enough time and is still recovering for her previous neglect.

What we have learned about Ginger: Ginger is sweet and easily adaptable. She might be a little shy at first, but a carrot or apple wins her right over. She is easy to catch and loves being brushed on. She leads well and can stand tied, either singley or cross-tied. She allows her front feet to be picked up and we are working on her hind(she is probably fine with those too, we just haven't pushed it too hard). She appears to get along great with other horses. although right now she is separated from them by a fence. She appears very intelligent by the way she quickly learns. She is very steady and not easily spooked by things. Trailering her is uneventful. We guess that she would make a lovely horse for a young girl or woman. She will respond to a caring, nuturing person willing to spend some time fussing over her. She deserves to get a wonderful, permanent home! Ginger's little boy arrived on March 29, 2008. See baby photos and proud mom below!!

Update on Pacata!
Pacata gave birth to a beautiful baby boy this morning, April 10, 2008! We haven't thought of any names yet, but little Mr. No Name is certainly enjoying a wonderful start to life in Evergreen with Connie and her family. They even put his little blanket in the dryer this morning to make sure it was warm enough for this sweet little guy to wear.
Meet Little Mr. No Name
Mom and Baby are both doing wonderfully!
Big Sam Has a New Home!
Our Big Sam has been adopted and went to his new Mom, Mary on April 2nd! Congratulations Sam and Mary! We know he is going to be so happy in his new home, and very loved, as you can already see!

We Need Your Help!
This little guy needs a name! We've been calling him "Chip" for Chip off the Old Diamond, but feel he deserves a better name.

He is the cutest thing on 4 legs we've seen in a while.

IT' MY BIRTHDAY!!!
Hi. My name is Skylar..the pretty lady behind me is my mom...Emarillo AKA Bucky. I was born early this morning (Sunday June 1, 2008). I don't know much about how my Mom and I came to be at DreamCatchers but I am sure glad we found them...they are real nice people. Until our forever homes find us, we will enjoy our days sunning and running in our stall, run and pasture here at DreamCatchers.
"EM" was brought to us on March 7, 2008 by way of the Denkai Sanctuary. We were told that she and her foal (Skylar is the second child) were rescued from a killer lot. Baby 1 was weaned and found a good. Mind you, Em is only 3 yrs old and already a mom twice over.
We were also told that Em might have been exposed to a stallion while at the killers or just before at the sale barn. Obviously she was. Em is still a little leary of humans but once on a lead walks with you nicely if a little hesitantly. She is coming around with the help of her daughter who is all cuddles and kisses.
EUREKA!!!
FRECKLES HAD HER BABY!!!
Gracie arrived early Friday Morning (6/6/08).
Both Mom and Baby are healthy and happy. Freckles is a very attentive Mommy and Gracie is a very curious young lady. This picture is at just hours old.
