Are you looking for your equine soulmate??
I found mine at DreamCatchers Equine Rescue!!
AT DREAMCATCHERS, WE BELIEVE EVERY HORSE HAS IT'S OWN SPECIAL PERSON JUST WAITING TO FIND EACH OTHER! OUR GOAL IS TO BRING HORSES AND PEOPLE TOGETHER!
Let me tell you a little of my own story.
I had always considered horses amazing, majestic animals, but was also a little intimidated by their size and sheer stength. I had never even considered the possibility that I would ever have a horse in my own life...the idea was well outside of my scope of life in general....until DreamCatchers. Through an ad my husband actually found, I met a scruffy little horse that actually looked more like a mule than a horse. The bottom of the herd, he was a little under-weight, shaggy winter coat, and had more than a few healthy bite marks!
I could not get him, or his sweet face, out of my mind. After about a week, I finally talked to my husband about him and we made the long treck to meet the little guy. IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!! Knowing absolutely nothing about him at that time, his lineage, training, etc. I wrote the check and bought him on the spot. I would not have cared if he were green with purple polk-a-dots, all I knew was that my heart sang a sweet tune to my soul the moment I looked in to those soft brown eyes and I was lost.
My Amir is the love of my life, and over the next several months I watched the amazing transformation of this scruffy little ragamuffin in to the most stunning horse I'd ever seen. I found out later that he is actually a purebred registered Egyptian Arabian with a pedigree to make most Arab lovers drool.....but he's still, and always will be, my "Little Man" and the heart of my soul.
THANK YOU DREAMCATCHERS FOR FINDING ME MY SOULMATE!

Tanner is a 19 yr old Buckskin Gelding. He is well trained in western pleasure and has wonderfully smooth gates. With daily ridng he will not only regain his muscle tone, he will regain his composure and confidence and make an awesome riding partner for someone special. ADOPTED 02/25/09
Congratulations to Sharon of Colorado Springs on finding her new forever horse buddy in Tanner. He gets to live in a beautiful stall and have fun with his new friends Lip, Brio and Browney... What a great life he has in store for him. Lisa Jo said it best "he went from a rich life to a really poor life to a REALLY rich life."

We are soooooo happy for both Tanner and his human Sharon!
SKIPPER MOVES TO BENNETT CO
Skipper when he first came to us in January 2008. Even with his heavy winter coat, you can see how emaciated he was!
Skipper today after lots of love from Brenda in Bennett!

After a few weeks of good food at DreamCatchers he weighed in at 874 when Brenda Sugar took him to his new home in early February. Brenda now reports he is almost 975 pounds and still gaining!
Brenda told us that he was unable to keep up with her other horses or even try when he first arrived. Now she said he is kicking up his heels and running like the wind when turned out with his new friends.

Brenda had to give us a shot of that big butt Skipper is sporting these days! A very welcome change from the concave butt he had a short time ago. He is filling out nicely and gaining muscle mass.
WOW, Look at him Now May 2008

April
is a sweet little soon to be 3 yr old filly.
Standing 13 hh now, she is pony size but will probably reach at least 14 hh at full grown.
With some time invested in her training she will be a great addition to any herd! Look at that mane! April Has a New Family. She was adopted by Michelle Cummings and her Daughter Abby as a result of the Adoption Fair March 8, 2008.
April went HOME to her new best friend Abby on April 20, 2008.
She has some pretty nice new diggs at Abby's place. Dad just completed her stall and run, she has a brand new Round Pen to play in and a new Friend, Elly who is the CUTEST little Hackney Pony! April is in heaven with his new family.
Thanks Michelle, George and especially Abby for giving April her new forever home.
