A total of 35 horses are rescued from Park County!!!
4 Months after arriving at DreamCatchers Equine Rescue, the Park County horses are doing wonderful.
11 Horses, Angel, April, Toro, Scorpio, Sallie, Big Sam, Ty, Tanner, Big Red, Hope and Skipper have found new permanent homes with wonderful families.
Big Red, one of the pregnant mares was transferred to Front Range Equine Rescue. They have much experience with PMU Mares and will do a great job socializing and training her while awaiting the birth of her foal later this Spring.
Ginger and Pacata are being fostered by very generous an supportive volunteers.
Ginger has delivered her foal, a strapping boy named Snap. Thank you Joy for taking such good care of her and her son! See pictures of Snap below on this page and more on the "Updates" page.
Big Sam is doing Awesome. He just last week was adopted by Mary and Ed Kissam and is now being spoiled rotten...and falling straight in love with Mary's other rescue baby Ria. Check out the "Success Story" page for pictures of Big Sam and his new mom!
Pacata has finally delivered her foal and what a handsome little man he is! This little guy may already have a new home once he's weaned! See the "Updates" page for pictures of the adorable little guy!
The rest of the horses still at the ranch are thriving. Below are some "afters" to go with their "befores" so that all can see the progress they are making. Looking at the pictures of these guys now, you can see they are happy, content and they know they are safe. It shows.....in their eyes and the way they hold themselves...they are back!
