HOPE
Calling all Long Ear Lovers! This little yearling Mule is the Daughter of Ginger seen above. She is as sweet as can be and will actually load herself in the trailer to go home. She is halter trained and very loveable. Will make an awesome riding buddy for someone in a few years. In the meantime, she will just amuse herself by being as close to her human as is possible without actually sitting in your lap!

HOPE IS BACK AT THE RANCH!
SOMETIMES OUR NEW HOMES JUST DON'T WORK THE WAY WE PLAN...HOPE IS A HANDFUL AND HER NEW OWNER NEEDED A LITTLE LESS SPUNK SO HOPE IS UP FOR ADOPTION AGAIN!!!
Ginger is an adorable 6yr old Mustang of unusual color. She is a "line-back" red dunn with a very thick and long mane and tail. She is smaller, only about 13.1 hh but what she lacks in stature, she makes up for in personality. Her foster Mom, Joy, reports that she is coming along nicely. Once shy of people, avoiding any contact, she now stands quite content to be groomed and loved on. She is very agreeable and will make a wonderful riding horse for some young girl or boy or for that matter, any person who likes a small sturdy sure footed mount.

Read more about what Joy has learned about Ginger on the updates page.
GINGER'S NEW BABY IS HERE. CHECK OUT HIS BABY PICS ON THE UPDATE PAGE
Meet JBar!
This stunning black and white Overo Paint is an awesome example of what a horse should look like and whats more, he knows he's all that! but in a good way.
He has a quiet self assuredness that will capture your heart yet he is playful and very intelligent.
Blind in one eye for more than 10 years, he is confident enough to allow you to approach him from either side blind or sighted and not spook or react adversely. He absolutely loves to love and be loved!

Spirit
is a young mustang stallion (also to be gelded soon).
He was named by us for his resemblence to the Disney character "Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron". He has not been handled much at all so will take some extensive patient work to get gentled and trained to ride, but it will be well worth it for the right person. He is stunning

Blackie
This little guy will be 2 in June. He is Vinny's half brother, having the same mom Mahlak. Blackie is a very personable young mustang pony. He will be suitable as a first horse for any youngster once trained to ride. For now, he will just lick you to death and beg for treats and follow you wherever you go.

Malachi
I may look alot like Blackie and there is a good reason for this, he is my Brother. We may look alike, but I am going to be taller than him and should grow to at least 13.3hh. I was born in June of 2005 to Mahlak and Apollo.
I don't much like halters but I am willing to learn for the right person. I will lead some and the trailer doesn't scare me a bit. I will work for treats.....

Measure
Measure is an adorable Halflinger gelding who came to us recently. Isn't he lovely?? We have not had a chance to fully evaluate his training level, but his sweet disposition guarantees this handsome little man will be a GREAT addition to any family! UPDATE Measure has been adopted. His new Mom Sharon is training him as a show pony!

BG
She enjoys a good scratch. This filly is as sweet as pie. She is halter trained and very gentle. We are starting her ground work. In a few short weeks, we are confident that she will be riding like a champ...What a beautiful and graceful young lady.

Disco
We have it on good authority that this handsome 12 yr old BLM Gelding is a fine ride for an experienced rider. We were told by a former caretaker (prior to Flying Ah) that he has a quirk with being mounted, but once in the saddle, he is a wonderful partner for any trail. We have not tested the theory yet, but will be starting his refresher course in the very near future.

Reuben
This smaller gelding will be 3 this June. He is a little standoffish, but has been started in halter and ground work. We will start him under saddle this summer if he is still in residence. We are hoping that his human will find him and use the training activities to bond forever to this special guy.
Apollo
This beautiful 12 yr. old Tobiano Paint Stallion (yes he will be gelded soon). He suffers from Ringbone in his left front fetlock due to years of confinement and improper trimming. We now have him on a trimming program that has already relieved some of his discomfort and can only get better from here. He may never be rideable but would make an awesome companion horse.
Pacata
This lovely lady is Quinten's Pacata. She is very pregnant and can be adopted with foal or by herself once
she gives birth and weans the little one. Se is the mother of April seen pictured to the left. Pacata is halter trained and loves to be groomed. We have not determined the extent of her training due to her advanced pregnancy but she seems very willing. She is 7 years old and 14hh. Just looking for the right human to give her a chance at a loving permanent home.
Pacata is a new mom! Check out her sweet little colt, currently being pampered in Evergreen with Connie and her family.
Diamond
is a pretty little bay mare, very sweet and yes, VERY pregnant. She is a little reticent to be caught but once on a lead, she will follow you anywhere you want to go. She trailers well and stood just fine for the vet exam though you could tell she wasn't happy. We have been told by her former owner that she is started under saddle but still pretty green. She will foal any time now and the adoption may or may not include the foal, though if you opt to not adopt the foal as well, she must remain with us until the baby is weaned. We will continue to provide for all her needs at our expense during this time.

Diamond is a new Mom!! Check out her and her new colt!

Ms.Dena
is a soon to be 3yr old Chestnut/Sorrel Mustang filly. She is very willing to come for feed and allow you to pet and scratch her. We have not had the chance to further evaluate her level of socialization though we find her very curious and intelligent. She will be a quick learner and a loving horse to the right person!

Magic
is a 15 yr old Appendix QH Mare who blew her knee out in an riding accident 8 years ago. She has adjusted to the injury and gets around just fine, if a bit slow sometimes.
Her former owners had a change in lifestyle and were no longer able to keep her so it was either come to us or be put down.
She is our very special "Eccentric Aunt" of the herd. She is a diva, a princess and when you see her with her head down wiggling her lips it is as if she is saying " I am too important to be in this herd, this must be a mistake, please take me back to my padded stall and the lap of luxury I am used to".
She is recovering from a skin condition which caused much of her coat to fall out. She is completely well now and her hair is growing back but she looks rather rough.
We would consider adoption for her to the RIGHT person and situation but more than likely she is more of a candidate for a caring sponsor who will love her and help pay for her care and let her remain here where she has become comfortable.
Magic with Julie.

Fancy
This beautiful young mare came to us the Day after Thanksgiving along with Mom. She has come a long way in learning to trust and now leads nicely. It would only take a little time and patience and she would be a wonderful riding companion for a very special person. Fancy is Approximately 6 yrs old,14.2hh, gray with a darker gray mane and tail. She looks like an Arab Cross. She has very sweet eyes and a willing disposition once you get to know her.

NG Dancing Comet
Sold for $4,000 as a 2 yr old, Comet is a stunning Polish Arab mare, 13 yrs old and almost 14hh what a beautiful bay! She is trained to ride, needs some updating, loves bareback with halter needs work with saddle and bit. She will make a wonderful partner for the right person.

Mahlak
This is Vinny's mom...when she arrived, she was so emaciated that the vet said she could not take him back, she did not have the body condition to recover and feed him also...today she is a pudgy girl. She is kid trained and is just waiting for her little girl or boy to find her and take her home.
